Hello Monique,
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien For the time being I am waiting feedback about these extension before try it and ... may be ... broken the site |
Testing with a copy of the page would avoid a broken frontend even if the effort doesn't goal.
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien - I am waiting answer from Herbert Roider concerning formular to allow fe_users to edit their data (base on API) |
What did you ask and what do you expect?
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien - these extension allow to login into TYPO3 (and thus automatically login in vBulletin) but not in the other sense, it's not a problem if - for example - we modifie the vBulletin template in order tu use the loginbox of TYPO3 in place of vBulletin login |
I think the same, the base is made and additional features can be integrated.
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien - question also arise about banned visitors : vBulletin permit to block pernicious visitors (viagra and so on... ) |
Viagra has changed your life
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien if you look to my site Accueil you will see that I use hack of vBulletin to permit to the TYPO3 visitors to login directly to vBulletin
For emailing newsletters it is possible to use direct_mail_subscription and transfert via CVS list or request on a table all vBulletin profile in TYPO3 |
I still understand even the base featueres of VBulletin because on my own pages I'm using other solutions but I will study VB and your hints will be helpfull.
Zitat:
Zitat von Monique Bastien I tell all these things to explain that we have differents ways to integrate vBulletin and TYPO3. So if we decide to use a new extension, we have to be sure that it will be operationnel |
I understand. We have to think about that too. But as mentioned we also have the chance to change or extend the extension.
