Hello

It checks nevertheless times under the installed Extensions ("Shy Extensions" activated) whether the Extension is installed plugin_mgm. The Extension must "global" (TYPO3/ext/) and not "local one" (typo3conf/ext/) to be also installed ("global" and "local one" do not go).

Delete in this case the "Locale" and install if necessary again it for "global".

Then everything should function again.

You say to install plugin_mgm in global but not in local

Ok but with the TYPO3 4.01 version I have only the possibilities to install in local ?

So How to install plugin_mgm in "global" ?

wenn die Extensions deinstalliert sind, kann man sie problemlos verschieben. Das geht so:

1. Lokale Extensions werden im Ordner "typo3con/ext/[KEY DER EXTENSION]" gespeichert. Diesen Ordner kopiert man per FTP auf die lokale Festplatte.
2. Auf dem Server geht man in folgendes Verzeichnis: "TYPO3/ext/". Dort kopiert man den Ordner von der Festplatte hinein.
   Beispiel:
   vorher: typo3conf/ext/plugin_mgm
   hinterher: tYPO3/ext/plugin_mgm
3. Jetzt kann man im Extension-Manager die Ansicht "install Extensions / Erweiterungen installieren" aktualisieren. Nun wird bei der Extension "global" angezeigt und sie kann normal installiert werden.

NACHTRAG ZU 1:sad: Der Ordner "typo3con/ext/[KEY DER EXTENSION]" muss dann gelöscht werden!!!

Hinweis: Wenn man den "Quixplorer" installiert hat, geht das Verschieben auch leichter, ohne daß man die Erweiterung per FTP auf dem eigenen PC zwischenspeichern muss.

Falls Du Übersetzungsprobleme hast (deutsch->englisch bzw. deutsch-> französisch) kannst Du Dich gerne noch mal melden.

EDIT : I have this mistake now : Error in init.php: Path to TYPO3 main dir could not be resolved correctly.

This happens if the last 6 characters of this path, /home/sites/site97/www/typo3/ext/plugin_mgm/modules/, (\$temp_path) is NOT "typo3/" for some reason.
You may have a strange server configuration. Or maybe you didn't set constant TYPO3_MOD_PATH in your module?
If you expect any help from anybody on this issue, you should save this page as an html document and send it along with your request for help!

I don't understand what you want to tell me ?
If you want that I use only german language it will be difficult for you to understand (because automatic translator are )
Maybe you think " Why she doesn't uses french forum ?" because there is no a big community around TYPO3 as in Germany or Autria, so on french forums you have to wait a long time before receiving an answer

Ich habe gestern die automatischen Übersetzungen gesehen, die sind leider wirklich sehr schlecht. Aber Du bist auf jeden Fall willkommen hier, egal ob es deutsch, englisch oder französisch ist: ich versuche zu helfen wo ich kann, und meine Kollegen auch
Mit der automatischen Übersetzung von deutsch-> englisch ist es ja wohl auch nicht so schlimm, sonst würdest Du ja nicht so viel verstehen.

Hello Monique,
in some or in most Extensions the Pathes are hardcoded. Try to change the red marked path to TYPO3 only:

But please use small letters only because the word TYPO3 in this Forum always is replaced with big letters. So it's not shown correct even if I only use small letters.
Perhaps there exist other scripts with the path "typo3conf", I think you have to change them all.

and it was allright
