Ein Autor möchte gerne einen real media clip auf der Seite über das Medien- Element hinzufügen.

Die Endung ist jedoch in der Standartconfig nicht erlaubt.

Also schaue ich in der Konfiguration und finde das hier:

$TCA['pages']['columns']['media']['config']['allowed'] = 'gif,jpg,jpeg,tif,bmp,pcx,tga,png,pdf,ai,html,htm,ttf,txt,css,rm';

(Ich habe das rm bereits mit dazugeschrieben).
Nur wo genau muss ich den kram einfügen, damit das funktioniert? Im Backend steht "(Now, copy/paste this value into the configuration file where you can set it. This is all you can do from here...) "

Nur WO muss ich es reinschreiben?

Im Verzeichnis /rooteinerinstallation/typo3conf/ sollte es sowas wie localconf.php und extTables.php geben.

Hm hab die Werte jetzt gesetzt - wird auch wunderschön in der Konfiguration angezeigt, aber ich kann bei Multimedia noch immer nicht das Real- Video einfügen.

Muss ich noch einen anderen wert setzen?

Wird vermutlich nicht mehr aktuell sein, aber für diejenigen die noch eine Lösung dafür suchen: philippd hat die Configuration für pages geändert. Multimedia ist natürlich ein tt_content Element. Deswegen muss die Zeile so lauten:

$TCA['tt_content']['columns']['multimedia']['config']['allowed'] = 'txt,html,htm,class,swf,swa,dcr,wav,avi,au,mov,asf,mpg,wmv,mp3,rm';

Das einfach in die Datei typo3conf/extTables.php kopieren.
