ich bekam den Fehler:

Fatal error:  Call to undefined function:  gzcompress() in /srv/www/htdocs/typo3_src-4.1.2/typo3/mod/tools/em/class.em_terconnection.php on line 177

in Line 177 sieht so aus:

  $content.= gzcompress($serialized);

Das Fehlet ist dann aufgetreten, als ich bei
Available Extensions - Grouped by: Category - > htmlArea RTE downloaden wollte.


Kann mir jemand vielleicht helfen?

Kann sein, dass dein PHP falsch kompiliert ist und die Funktion fehlt.
Schau im Install-Tool unter phpinfo nach, ob bei der PHP-Konfiguration der Parameter gzip zu finden ist.
Oder post einfach deinen Configure Command, mal sehen was da so drin steht.

sag mir bitte, welche Datei soll ich hier posten.

Ich habe die phpAdmin auch installiert ich kann nämlich die Seite von phpAdmin abrufen und auf die DB typo zugreiffen und was ändern , aber das kann nicht direkt bei Typo3, da anstatt phpAdmin habe ich DBAL dbug.

Ich kann die Seite nicht anlegen, habe ich so was:

im Install-Tool phpinfo() auswählen und nach der PHP-Konfiguration suchen.
Erstelle ansonsten eine Datei auf dem Server, die phpinfo.php heißt, schreib da <?phpinfo();?> rein, ruf die auf, merk dir das, poste es hier, und lösche die Datei ganz schnell wieder (Security Risk)

damit sie also geht, muss zlib installiert sein. was ich von dir haben wollte war die php-Konfiguration beim kompilieren, steht in phpinfo ganz oben hinter Configure Command.
Hier ist z.B. meine:

eine ältere Version:

kannst Du mir vom Anfang helfen.

Ich habe noch mal typo3_src und dummy downloaden.
Dummy habe ich als cms genannt, so wie hier ist:

4 Rename the dummy-<version> directory to fit your needs and make sure it
is accessible by your webserver (for example by creating a virtual
host). We assume you rename the directory to cms:
$ mv dummy-<version> cms

5 Set permissions (as root:sad: There are at least two options.
These steps will make four directories writable for the webserver:
- cms/fileadmin/
- cms/typo3conf/
- cms/typo3temp/
- cms/uploads/

5.a (recommended)
Run these commands as root in the cms/ directory:
# chgrp -R <wwwserver> fileadmin typo3conf typo3temp uploads
# chmod -R g+w,o-rwx fileadmin typo3conf typo3temp uploads

... where <wwwserver> is the name of the group your webserver
is running as

5.b (insecure but easy to apply)
I repeat: This is insecure!
Do not use this method if you are working on a shared server!

Simply run this command:
$ chmod -R a+w fileadmin typo3conf typo3temp uploads

6 Check the symlink cms/typo3_src and make sure it points to the source
directory.

7 In your browser, visit

das habe ich auch unter srv/www/htdics jetzt rübekopiert.
also cms steht unter :/srv/www/htdocs/cms.
wo soll ich typo3_src kopieren.

Wenn ich meine seite abrufe, komme ich zu Install tools, die man ausfüllen soll, aber vor dieser Punkte steht iweder was:
